Great to see Baptiste and Thorne starting.

The only question mark with those two is fitness, not ability - so if they're now ready to start games against Premier League opponents in the cup, they can't be far off pushing for places in the league. And that would then leave us with a bagful of options in the middle of the park.

I hope I’m wrong but Hall has done nothing when he has put in his cameos this season, he doesn’t look fit, he gets tired after a couple of runs, I know he needs to get match fit to show us what he can still do, if anything, but to start this game is a huge mistake, having said that I hope I’m totally wrong
