EFL MK Dons..........

That's a load of bullshit I will still be there but I booked the day off work incase my shift got charged and now they go and change the day of the game only plus side regarding attendance is the kids are off school

It's frustrating and I'll be one having to change my plans. But talk of season ticket prices next season has people saying that we shouldn't have to increase them because of the TV money available. If we want promotion and the TV revenue that goes with it, then its difficult to argue against this disruption, because it will happen a lot more in the Championship.

So picking 3 games for TV impacts a further 5:

Moved Friday 15th to Saturday 16th
Rotherham United v Ipswich Town
Wigan Athletic v Cambridge United
MK Dons v Sheffield Wednesday

Moved Monday 18th to Tuesday 19th
Burton Albion v Rotherham United
Cambridge United v Charlton Athletic
Crewe Alexandra v Sheffield Wednesday
Ipswich Town v Wigan Athletic
Oxford United v MK Dons

Let this be a lesson for the future though. If we get to the Championship, this sort of change to fixture dates will be the norm.
Not normally at late notice though. The 5week notice period has been stuck to all season, changes to 4week from March onwards, but they've still missed it for this round of fixtures.

can @OUSP Secretary ask why the club agreed to move the game from a bank holiday Monday afternoon game to a Tuesday evening, which may be school half-term, but (some) people will be at work on Tuesday, and we all know how rubbish works traffic is, which MAY cost OUFC in ticket sales (NOT compensated by any TV money coming our way!!)

also, given that the EFL website states that March 18th was the cutoff point for rearranging matches to accommodate games being televised, perhaps @OUSP Secretary could also contact FSA and ask them to find out how and why EFL went against their own cutoff date of March 18th for League 1 Easter weekend fixtures being moved?

This ISNT a championship game its League1 .... and The EFL have overridden their own cut off date of March 18th for switching games over the Easter weekend , basically to metaphorically suck the dicks of Sky TV .... Parry and his 8 EFL admin cohorts are not fit for purpose, they couldn't run a bath never mind the English Football League

Hope the @OUSP Secretary can do that this week and hopefully get an explanation as to why OUFC would agree to this as Easter Monday would have been a cracking atmosphere, whereas a day later in the evening will disrupt quite a few,
