From that article...

What the hell does that mean? Just buzzwords to appeal to the Right I guess. She should have added 'woke' and 'snowflakes' to it for more impact.

She'll be talking about the Tory centrists as she's fully in with BlueKip.

In reality, it is just more of the culture war B*****s that they've been spouting for quite a while. Create the imaginary enemy and then blame that for any resistance to or failure on the Tories' part.

‘Left wing’? There can’t be a lot of ‘left wing’ thinking among the grey suits now after the Tories have had it all their own way for twelve years.
Quite

The fact that the right are STILL banging on about "reds under the bed" only goes to show firstly, just how laughably paranoid they are and secondly how incompetent they are at "managing change"

Jesus, if the Civil Service is still run by lefties after 12 years under the Tory cosh, how long will it take them to make 9 billion in savings🤷‍♂️

And it is staright out of the Tory right playbook to blame everyone else for the problems that either they created, can't solve or didn't exist in the first place. Typical squirrel behaviours for a failing bunch of gobshites.

I would also be pretty sure that the already damaged relationship between government and Civil Service will only fracture further. After 10+ years of blame from government and generally being treated like shite on a Tory brogue (same goes for much of the public sector), the relationship will only deteriorate further nd the government will find it increasingly difficult to get business done. Didn't their mummies/wet nurses teach them not to bite the hand that feeds?

Liz la la Truss strikes again :ROFLMAO:

W

WTF is she on? Any suggestion of *cutting* public sector pay in the current circumstances was so ludicrous as to be meaningless - obviously it was only aimed at the party members, who are largely retired or small business owners.
Because they're so far up their own arses they've lost touch with reality.

2 years is a long swansong for this busted government and broken party, but it will be hilarious and terrifying in equal measure!

And now Mark Harper has waded in to tell Liz Truss campaign to stop blaming journalists for willful misrepresentation, when it was her campaigns fantasy promises that had to be withdrawn.

That's £9 billion of savings she now needs to find from somewhere else.

All these years she's been cosplaying Thatcher to appeal to the Tory gullible and now she's found seriously wanting.

Nothing like a good bit of blue on blue action[emoji1787]

Bit more on that:

So no-one gets paid more in London??

That's not what you said.
You said, "most of the public sector has regional pay".
London weighting has been a "thing" for many years and, as already posted, tends to sit within the M25.

Sunak is a completely uninspiring, boring technocrat, who's mostly completely out of touch with the people and probably a bit corrupt on top of it......

......but I'm getting to the point where I can't see how any Tory with a brain wouldn't vote for him in this leadership election.

Even in a week of campaigning, the Truss campaign has been an absolute circus of fantasy economics, right-wing buzzwords, policy U-Turns, pointless pronouncements and blatant untruths. Two years of Truss is going to be like the BoJo government on steroids.

I'm sure she'll win, but it's only going to reinforce the impression that the majority of Tory members are gullible idiots, slobbering whackjobs, or sometimes both......
