I would also be pretty sure that the already damaged relationship between government and Civil Service will only fracture further. After 10+ years of blame from government and generally being treated like shite on a Tory brogue (same goes for much of the public sector), the relationship will only deteriorate further nd the government will find it increasingly difficult to get business done. That's £9 billion of savings she now needs to find from somewhere else.
