Grenoble Road - New Parking Restrictions

They've kept it very reasonable. I think the cost for parking and riding is £4 for one person in one car, £5 for two people/1 car. So pretty good value. Definitely worth the club thinking about it for LR coaches. More secure than Grenoble Road.

Grenoble Road - New Parking Restrictions

Pear Tree Park and Ride, if you are just parking, costs £2 for up to 16 hours. I've used it a few times to meet up for away games car sharing. It's the same for all the P&R locations. Even though some of the FoSB supporters claim that you can't just use the car parking at Oxford Parkway. You can.

    General Commercial and Marketing

Hi ECYellow As Paul had addressed the question in his reply (see below), my reply was more specific about lack of OxVox visibility. I'm approachable, we're all approachable, I've had a fan speak to me in the pub about an issue with their broken seat. We got it fixed. : d) Michael North, Sue...

    General Commercial and Marketing

I've lost count of the times I, and other committee members and OxVox members, have been outside the ground in the last few years, and increasingly over the last 12/18 months or so. Wearing hi-viz vests with OxVox emblazoned on them, with a couple of flag banners saying "Join OxVox", trying to...

That would be helpful. At the moment it feels like an attempt to smear the committee. Why? I've no idea.

As Trev has pointed out, both he and Maurice from the committe post on the forum, I read it but don't post as much as I used to, and we picked up on a couple of things that we felt we should reply to directly. I speak to lots of fans on match days and also through a various WhattsApp groups...

General New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Land Deal

Apologies for the tardy reply. Been on holiday. Can you say where where the club have said "journey's will be made entirely by 'sustainable' methods" in their statements? As you are not including someone who gets an electric powered taxi from their home to the staion and then travels by train...

General New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Land Deal

On the subject of unanswered questions: So if someone in Thame (or any other place around the county close to a train station) gets a lift from their other half, or with a group of fellow fans in a taxi to Haddenham and Thame Parkway station, then travel by train to Oxford Parkway, then you...

and This is what the club have said in their documents: "Through the new stadium development, we are targeting 90% of fans and site users to travel by sustainable modes." So if someone in Thame (or any other place around the county close to a train station) gets a lift from their other half...

I thought I'd have a look at this statement "The site is situated within a number of SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) Impact Risk Zones" https://naturalengland-defra.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/sssi-impact-risk-zones-england/explore?location=51.798098%2C-1.299936%2C11.96 I checked...

General New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Land Deal

Not sure what relevance the first figures you've quoted have to how football fans will arrive at a stadium. I don't think the poeple I know are particularly "green", just that they can see how the new stadium location will make it much easier to take public transport. I could say how...

General New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Land Deal

Who's pretending that "these plans are flawless and detailed"? In my reply, I said they weren't detailed plans. You're using a strawman argument. "What's the difference between that and just driving the extra couple of miles and parking at the stadium?" Unless you have a blue badge, or...

General New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Land Deal

I wouldn't say any of that displays a "chronic lack of clarity". Obviously it's not as detailed as it would need to be in the planning application, but this gives some overview into what the club are looking at for the stadium, without turning the 32 page document (that you don't think anyone...

General New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Land Deal

You've stated up the thread: "For me, the main issue at the minute is a chronic lack of clarity", then complain that people won't read the documentation provided by the club, which provides a lot of information, and dare I say it, clarity. "Where's the clarity?" "It's in this document" "I'm not...

It seems like your usual match day experience is getting to the ground early (I don't know if you then meet people for a drink, food, chat??) Go to the game. Leave asap after. For many people the matchday is more social. A chance to catch up with friends. Socialise. Maybe that's why you...

Exeter City is closest. Though it's not a major station like Ox Parkway. I don't think Coventry is used much. For some reason it's not suitable!
