I'd say fit he's still an automatic pick. Certainly ahead of both Woakes and Broad. And still an automatic pick for the new ball.

Just got to find a way to get him fit....

I'm not sure anymore. Broad is bowling a better length and added pace, Woakes offers batting and a minor step down with Anderson bowling. The team dynamic has shifted and while I respect the Anderson the bowler a lot, I can't help but think that others are overtaking him now.

Considering he's 37, it's not so bad.

Yep. Archer is the key as he allows for succession. Perhaps Curran for Broad in a couple of years too.
