What are your thoughts on this idea that came from the Green Party peer, that men are not allowed out after 6pm?.

Ha yes, plus deliveries and all manner of heavy jobs that don’t appeal to women. But it’s a discussion point not a serious proposal. Won’t be necessary as long as guys can restrain themselves from being creeps.

It wasn't a serious suggestion though from what I've read, it was flipping the 'women shouldn't go out alone' line that always gets trotted out.

I’d imagine that’s a point that’ll get deliberately missed by certain corners of the press tomorrow.

So all men are curfewed except delivery drivers and taxi drivers, that should do it.... except the next Peter Sutcliffe (lorry driver) and the guy who bumped off half a dozen women in Ipswich ( taxi driver) ... Etc.

The serious point is that almost any measure introduced will mpact normal people, but those to whom they are designed to stop will no doubt find a way round without difficulty

There is a petition circulating to allow pepper spray to be carried for personal protection.

I suggested that if it is decriminalised then it could just as easily be used by "bad people".... that went down well.

Lets just be nice, decent humans regardless of colour, gender etc. Good starting point IMHO.

She is better than plenty of Tory, Labour etc etc. I may not agree with all her views but she can cogently argue for them unlike some MPs in safe seats for the other parties.
