I don’t think it takes this long to undertake the fit and proper persons test. Robinson said he thought it was at that stage but perhaps its not?
He didn’t sound very sure when he said it.

I'll ask the question the other way. Is there any reason why this won't happen? It really does seem strange with how long this potential takeover is taking, is it really still going to happen…………………

Will what not happen?I'll ask the question the other way. Is there any reason why this won't happen?

Far more reason it wouldn't happen I would say:I'll ask the question the other way. Is there any reason why this won't happen?
Really?Far more reason it wouldn't happen I would say:
- New ground opportunity diminished
- Alternative more attractive investment opportunity arises
- Fit and Proper person tests failed
- Health of Board
- Relationship breakdown within Board
- Legal reasons
- Stars don't align before 31 Jan 22 (Year of the Ox)
- EFL.. who knows what they will propose next
- Failure on the pitch
- Combination of any of the above plus numerous other potential spanners

Good investment opportunity with a world brand ready to exploit
It's the latter!
They were also at a home game two weeks ago, so it would have to have been a pretty rapid breakdown of a relationship that has lasted years (even before they got involved with Oxford)Really?
I am not ITK but it is clear that the wealthy shareholders have been buying up more shares over quite a period of time.
Tiger is now not the majority shareholder.
They also appear to have been putting a huge amount of effort over a few years.
And yet a relatively short delay in the takeover, there are what a whole load of reasons why it might not happen including the health of the Board?
“ Have we been officially taken over yet? “
Isn't it the case that the club (or perhaps more correctly, the board) have issued more shares - this is important as it means that money is not simply being shuffled around between the people at the top, but new money (whether that be from new or existing sources) is coming onboard.Really?

When Tiger bought the club, he did it by the club issuing enough shares to Oxford Investment Holdings PTE Ltd that Ensco's (Eales) holding went down to <10%. Subsequently those Ensco shares were transferred to OIH.Isn't it the case that the club (or perhaps more correctly, the board) have issued more shares - this is important as it means that money is not simply being shuffled around between the people at the top, but new money (whether that be from new or existing sources) is coming onboard.
I wonder what impact this will have on OUFC matters?3,000 new homes approved off Grenoble Road. 'The South Oxford Science Park Village'.
hopefully better road access in the vicinity of the breeze block? ...... though given the highways of Oxfordshire are under the control of Oxfordshire County Council, and given the current amount of roadworks/ delays going from one side of Oxford to the other either crosstown' or via the ring road, probably not..... though there is always the hope of improvementI wonder what impact this will have on OUFC matters?
All that would fall, initially, on the developer(s) Once completed, the roads are then "adopted" by the relevant authorities.hopefully better road access in the vicinity of the breeze block? ...... though given the highways of Oxfordshire are under the control of Oxfordshire County Council, and given the current amount of roadworks/ delays going from one side of Oxford to the other either crosstown' or via the ring road, probably not..... though there is always the hope of improvement
