National News Covidiots.....

I can be sceptical about Government motives but to honestly believe that the Government (and the NHS ffs) have made the whole thing up is tinfoil hattery on steroids. Practically every Government and health service around the world must be doing the same based on this assertion. Ye Gods.

Regrettably, that would probably have little impact on their thick skulls. The reason many of them are anti-lockdown is because they are Covid-deniers and, probably, anti-vaccers too. Batton charge some responsibility into them.

These selfish bastards could lead us to have a 3rd wave and another lockdown at the moment my postponed holiday that was rearranged looks like that will be postponed as well and that is in August and that was before those idiots matching yesterday, so until people get it into their thick heads that if we want to have some sort of normality then we have to follow rules.
It doesn’t help when a Tory minister said he hoped that the European cup final can be attended by 90,000 at Wembley without any social distancing.....what a prick.

Outrageous scenes caused yet again by a minority of utter thugs who latch on to people who genuinely want to partake in a peaceful protest.

The fact that the protest shouldn’t have gone ahead anyway is yet another matter for the covidiot squad.

Getting rather sick and demoralised by the stupidity and utter disregard some people have for others.

Agree. They are an extremist minority of violent thugs looking for an excuse to attack authority, in this case the police. On this occasion the thugs oppose the proposed policing bill because it might limit their 'freedom' to demonstrate in whichever way they see fit.

I'm normally the sort of 'liberal' @Essexyellows despairs of :D but these people shouldn't be given any respite in the interests of the vast majority of the population. Sounds as if hundreds will be getting dawn visits from police forces around the country in the coming days as they are identified from extensive surveillance footage.

During the nationwide riots a few years ago Draconian sentences were given to those convicted. Same should apply here. Talk of a 'police state' is nonsense. Rule of law is needed in a civilised country, and the existence of a few bad apples amongst police ranks doesn't change that.

Presumably because they know someone else will clear up their mess, and will clear it up again after the next time the same people despoil somewhere nice.

Difficult to know what to do about full on idiots, like the two women encouraging their kids to knock the heads off daffodils near us the other day. 'They're only flowers and they're not yours. Why shouldn't our kids have fun?' Baffling.
