Bloody dozed off! That’s what happens when you start work at 2am I guess.
What a great effort from Afghanistan, I’m sure all across India hearts were in mouths, with the real chance they could of lost that game.
To come so close to beating a cricketing power like India, and probably favourites to lift the trophy just shows how far they’ve come as a sporting nation. They will get better, and have won a lot of friends after todays effort I’m sure.

It's also why I think it's anyone's tournament to win as India are clearly beatable on their day. Outside of Sharma & Kohli with the bat, and Bumrah & Kumar/Shami (the latter only in the side today because of an injury to the former, and they wouldn't play all 3 as it'd leave them with a really long tail end) with the ball, they have a lot of 'okay' players. So hopefully we've got our crap performances out the way now as still believe we can win it!
