Very sorry to hear this sad news. Cuddy’s predictions always reminded me of Half Man Half Biscuit “even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch”. Rest in Peace.

A canine mascot at an upcoming game is the only way to pay tribute suitably and sufficiently. Hopefully it would pee on the ref’s leg and run into the opposition goalie’s goolies as a mark of respect.
