For all the hysteria on here after the Scotland game, England’s path into the last 16 now looks even easier. Ukraine finish on three points so England can probably afford a f**k up against the Czechs.

Finland also on three points, so that makes it certain already that England go into the last 16?

Not just probably, definitely! England are through no matter what.

Ooopppssss

So let's get this right. A Scottish player has been a bell-end and clearly broken the bio-secure bubble, yet two England players who have done the right thing, and as a result Scotland miss one player, and England miss two. That doesn't seem very fair to me.

A lot has been made of the hugging at the end, but football is a close contact sport especially at set-pieces, corners, throw-ins etc - surely if we review video evidence then all the players must have been in close contact with Silly Gilmour, and they too must self-isolate?

So basically anyone who didn't play on Friday is eligible to play. Good job UEFA have increased the squad size to 26.

It does seem odd to only single out a couple of players when they have all been on the pitch and potentially in close contact on numerous occasions.

It’s as though they think Covid isn‘t transmissible on a pitch .

Having said that, if the current guidelines work on the assumption there is not sufficient time to be in close contact on the pitch for Covid to transmit, then why the heck are players all then hugging and chatting, arms round each other etc, after a game?

Stupid from all in my opinion. Play your game then leave the field, avoiding all additional contact. The idea is to keep contact to a minimum.

Think England are being ultra-cautious.

Its bloody ludicrous.
PHE have identified Mount and Chilwell as close contacts so must self isolate for 10 days.
But none of the Scotland squad have been identified as close contacts, even though they have been with him for weeks!!
I'm wondering if there is more to this than meets the eye.
What happened after the game!!?

It seems it’s nothing to do with the kissing and cuddling on the pitch at the end, and that there was some “socialising” after the game.

Getting clearer now. They spent 20 minutes taking to Gilmor in in the tunnell !! How was that allowed to happen?
Still bloody stupid though considering no Scottish players are having to isolate.
Baffling.

20 minutes talking to someone compared to being in a training camp/hotel with him constantly?

I didn’t read your post. I just came barrelling in and started wildly firing bullets like any reasonable person would have.

I don't suppose you run classes on that sort of thing?

I do.

You have to pay for the year in advance, but if the government guidelines dictate that you aren’t allowed to attend then I’ll just do the class on FaceTime, which you could’ve paid to watch at a much reduced rate on a class-by-class basis anyway. This means you’ll end up paying double the amount for the same experience as people who also didn’t have to make any sort of long-term commitment.

I won’t refund you the difference under any circumstances, in fact I’ll actively charge you for the final class of the year if that’s allowed to take place, and then the following year I’ll ask you for the same amount of money all over again. I WILL refund you pro-rata going forward for any classes that don’t happen, but your money from the first year is mine. The wife has already had a new bathroom put in with the cash, and it’s got one of them tiny toilets that squirts water up your bum.

Let me know if you’re still interested and I’ll send you my bank details, or you can just put your long card number, expiry date and the three digits on the back of your card on this thread.

Looks like the Scots are going "homeward tae think again".........................
