Marstons - MARS

Currently 88p a share and have had a 105p per share take over bid rejected.

Worth buying on the chance of a deal over 105p per share?

Used to have Marston's in my portfolio, but sold for a 3% profit. They look appealing with a possible takeover.

Only just read this, b****r! Now up to 96.5p

I know, but if they sell for 110 it's a small profit?

Need FT plus to buy, annoying!

I’m following this at the moment.
I fell out with my brother just over a year, seemingly about money. I know he had a big holding in these and only buys shares, rarely sells them.
My nephew is an accountant, nagged him continuously to sell his holding and he did on Monday morning, I think. Within half an hour of him selling they shot up on takeover news. He was livid with my nephew as he could have made loads more. I have to admit to thinking it was hilarious.
Now I find it even more so because they have started to rise again.
Despite our differences, he is very often right, and I therefore think Marstons will fly higher still 😀😀

They do some good ales and will be back in business.A brewery share I like is Wetherspoons
