Random question. Is it petty to be horrified at the thought of being given crockery as a present if it was bought in Swindon? I'd have to eat off of it...

I’d also question its quality - it would probably start slipping down the table, cracks would appear, I’d be worried about dodgy money being used to buy it. Plus you’d need specific cutlery to go with the plates - forks big enough for six-fingered hands etc.

Don’t worry about it, they wouldon’t understand what it’s used for, likewise cutlery.

My wife once tricked me into going shopping in Scum town needless to say I refused to buy anything and once we got home I had to disinfect our shoes and put the washing on a very hot wash never been back unless it’s for football

I`m amazed you need to ask, I get hives if MrsEY(Mk2) buys things that are red.

Hey my mother in law was born in Swindon, as she keeps reminding me. I told her she’s ok as she escaped.

If it’s a cup it’s probably worth a bit. Very rare to find one of them kicking around the town!
