Extremely sad news. One of the all-time great live bands. Lucky enough to see the Feelgoods back in the day.

I never saw them with him but I saw Wilko play in that pub on GLoucester Green, the Red Lion? A free gig! Also at Reading festival.

Never saw Dr. Feelgood but saw Wilko with the Solid Senders at Pembroke College (I think!) c 1978 or 79. My favourite recent story was when he joined Paul Weller on stage for From the Floorboards Up. Weller asked Wilko if he knew the song. Wilko said, 'yeh, it's one of mine'.

Saw him a few times relatively recently, playing with the Blockheads.
