It's time for another push to encourage more people to come and watch OUWFC, 2nd in the league, 100% record at home and playing decent football.

Yesterday they beat Cardiff City Ladies 2-0 and have home games on the next two Sundays (2pm kick off); Chichester & Selsey (23rd January) and Portsmouth (30th January), at home they've played 7 and won 7 scoring 23 goals and conceding only 3 goals.

It only costs a £1 (when presenting your ST) or £5 adults, £3 concessions and under 16's free. If you're bringing kids then bring a pen/sharpie as there's plenty of autograph opportunities from the players themselves but also Karl Robinson who is a regular attendee.

If you're still undecided then I suggest you try and visit for one game, I don't think you'll regret it.

Take a look at the League Website

Cardiff City Ladies are the team I worked for 2016-2020. Was so pissed off when I saw this. No one hurt fortunately, just a few idiotic kids who don't engage their brain into the potential consequences of their actions, but if that hits someone it could have been deadly!

Another win for the women today, closely fought game but came out on top 3-1.

Record attendance of 317 (at Oxford City, sure we've had more when playing at Abingdon Utd)

Well done Yellow Roses .... 1-2 away win yesterday takes to 3 pts behind the tractorgirls , with two games in hand

Yellow Roses could go joint top of their league, if they can get a win away to Houslow on wed eve

Not wanting to tempt fate but it should be a routine victory over Hounslow;

In a 26 game season Southampton still have 13 to play which for any team is going to be hard going so if they come out on top they'll have deserved it.

Also we have to play the rest of the top 7 away from home before the end of the season so it's going to be a tough run-in

Imagine the scenes when Hounslow finally score a goal!

To be fair there's a lot of pressure on who ever plays them as you don't want to be the first team to concede to them.

I feel for them to be fair, they were originally QPR until they were cast aside completely and left to fend for themselves, they've struggled season after season but you have to admire their spirit for the game.

With the match at Hounslow being postponed last week it's back to two home games next week;

Sunday 27th February 2:00pm - Crawley Wasps
Tuesday 1st March 7.45pm - Hounslow

With Ipswich and Southampton not playing until the following weekend two wins would see us go top of the league;

So will be good to get as many OUFC fans to one or preferably both of these games (at Court Place Farm) to show support to another successful team that is part of our club.

may , work n weather permitting , wander 5 mins or so down the road to CPF on Sunday avo to watch the yellow roses

Good luck tonight at home V Hounslow yellow roses

OUWFC with a win tonight can go top of their league

its a shame the rearranged first team (and very late announced ) all ticket away game to Pompey falls on the same night

OUWFC v Southampton
Wednesday 9th March - 7.45pm
at Court Place Farm

No midweek game for the men so no excuse not to get down and support the women, a win would be a massive result against one of their two nearest rivals for the title.

If theladies can win that one then they really are very good.
Southampton are the top scorers and have won 12 from 13 games. Southampton have 5 games in hand as well.

Good advert for women's football tonight, only a draw but after falling behind very early they showed tremendous character to get back into the game and be the most likely team to edge it.
