Unfortunately some teams have that nous to get results under pressure. Lincoln obviously in that category and you have to say on form they deserve it. Unfortunate but we have lacked that underbelly since the Appleton days.

This is the crux unfortunately. January needed us to bring in capable midfield, wide and forward options. Bar Dale, we took huge punts, and have got our just desserts. A recurring theme for us season after season, we really do need to get a grip when it comes to the January window.

Through our own failings, but yeah, our points total and performance is either what the board want, or it isn’t. I hope they are looking at their January outlay very closely indeed. For me, the fact we are dependent on other teams failing suggests performance hasn’t been where it needs to be.
