General Beards

Just looked through the players photos on the OWS. Of the 29 players 19 have a beard.
I know it is fashionable today but I thought I'd show how far ahead of the fashion I was.

This is me in 1978




Beard is gone now but the 'tosh is still in view, just the colour has changed over the years.

I've been told that many times. When I frequented White's Bar I always introduced myself to ladies as Les.

never had a beard- not back than , nor in recent times.... I did however sport a tosh in the 70s- mid 80s - a tosh was almost compulsory back then , for males of the species- well, until police academy (1) film came out, in which, if memory serves, a bushy tosh served as a membership card of sorts to the blue oyster bar/club, in that film- mine was removed around then ;-) .... ......
