Yes.

Released at the same time as Elechi at the beginning of May.

How far are you going back ? Brock, Thomas, less so Mark Jones, were key players in undoubtedly our greatest ever era. O’Dowda, latterly, was a massive player in our last successful side. You could point the finger at a whole load of clubs who only have a sprinkling of homegrown footballers. Football is about the here and now and you can’t wait around forever for 20 year olds to make the next step.

Not forgetting Mark Wright who was in the same crop but got sold early !

Depends where he is training. If it's a non league club (and especially a non full-time one) they may not provide training kit to those who aren't signed on.
Something that is quite common.

Or he may have been out doing his own thing.

Edited my original post to include more context.

But if it was a Thame United type level, those sorts of clubs often work on deals with their kit suppliers whereby they receive X amount of kits. And then have to order additional as they go.
Certainly the case at many of the local clubs close to me who play at Northern Premier/Conference North/Southern Prem Central levels.
