Matches Oxford v Sheff Wed Forum inspired Sellout?

Estimate on total so far mate? Thanks for your statistical wizardry as always!
Colin had just shy of 6000 home tickets sold at the same time yesterday, so 6150 or thereabouts.

Will be fantastic if we can get anywhere close to 7000 by the end of this week before a big push for the week leading up to the game.

6,723 is the highest sales figure of the season, on the Monday before the game. That was for Morecambe, where we ended up with just over 8,500 home fans, which is where we need to be for a 10,000 total crowd.

So 6,723 is the target for next Monday, which is doable.

Further good sales in the last 24 hours, another 150/200 tickets sold. Should hit that 6,723 target by next Monday at this rate, then the big push toward 10,000 in the last week of sales.

Looks like people are really getting behind it, as our daily sales at this point before a "normal" home game are only just above zero!

I'd much rather wait till we've got actual planning permission and the development has been started before starting to sing about a new stadium.

Having watched York's new stadium project take around 15 years till they actually played a game it, as well as being just old enough to remember the delays with Minchery Farm, I'm not getting carried away, as it would be a long way to fall.

Tbf, I think there was an element of incompetence involved at times with York's stadium.

Having been particularly close to the project for the majority of its time, you'd be right. But it very much highlights the types of delay that can occur in these projects.

Initial planning permission granted in May 2012. Construction delayed multiple times for multiple reasons relating to all areas of the complex and began in December 2017.

Granted it's quite a standalone disaster example but we also saw the delays with the new Spurs ground even in the final days of it allegedly being ready.

Cheers Curragh,

Looks like we're broadly in agreement on sales to date. I probably wont have a look now until Sunday morning, so it'll be interesting to see how sales go in the interim. If you did post again over the weekend, the way you've done it here is a perfect ready reckoner for me.

As always, regards to your Dad.
