The irony of this is it could hurt Putin/Russia far more as I suspect it will rapidly speed up moving from Russian Gas by other countries assuming he doesn't cut it off for all before they do (bar Hungary of course). He is trying to split the EU by threatening a recession but I think that will fail especially as demand will decrease going into Spring/Summer and he could run out of sufficient money to fund his military. If the US/UK/NATO ramp up weapons supply including heavier weaponry such as Tanks, Artillery, Fighters/Bombers (limited by ex-Russian equipment of course) then he would be really squeezed.

Germany is apparently only days away from solutions to get off the final 3rd supply of Russian Oil (the Refinery is owned by Gazprom) from their recent peak.

Possibly a bad shot of him, but he certainly looks to have aged significantly in recent months...and then there's the video footage of his supposed "tremors" as well.

Maybe his health is failing quite quickly :unsure:

That de-Nazification claim is going well. Lavrov must be privately cringing at what he is having to say. Although a lot of the domestic audience will sadly lap it up as they have little to counter it.

The problem with that is that the man he is putting in his place is the head of the FSB or the GRU is 70 so old skool and probably a very committed communist.
