Apparently, he was overheard earlier in the season that he'd eat his slacks if Sunderland got promoted.Sure it wasn't his slacks?

More money I supposeBit of an unusual one, Juan Sartori has now been appointed as a Director at Sunderland.
Isn’t his father in law something to do with Monaco and the new Sunderland owner’s family had something to do with MarseilleBit of an unusual one, Juan Sartori has now been appointed as a Director at Sunderland.
His 10% in laughing stockSatori still had a stake in the club after bailing Donald out early on, so likely just keeping an eye on his 10% or whatever it is.
KLD is the son of Robert Louis-Dreyfus, former (deceased) owner of Marseilles - Marseilles carried on under the family until 2016 when his widow sold it.Isn’t his father in law something to do with Monaco and the new Sunderland owner’s family had something to do with Marseille
( I think so that might be why he’s on the Sunderland board )
Some time later .......... with Chaz hanging around like a fart in a lift........... worth a read. Unless you are a Blunderland supporter.
Who Owns Sunderland AFC?
Sunderland AFC are nine months removed from a reported takeover, yet fans still have no confirmation of who actually owns how much of their club. Chris Weatherspoon looks at a big question that needs answeringwisemensay.co.uk
Blimey, that's worked out well hasn't it? More bullshitters and obfuscation - who'd have guessed?Didn’t our old friend @Lundinsponytail emerge on here recently in the new stadium thread?
Perhaps Charlie Boy could shed some light on this .
Still, at least things are going well for them on the pitch. Lol.Blimey, that's worked out well hasn't it? More bullshitters and obfuscation - who'd have guessd?
s reignited the discussion up there........... from post #904 onwards is "new".
WMS - Who Owns Sunderland AFC?
I understand what you're saying mate but I disagree. I think every year in this league damages our support base and that concerns me. I also think we can plan for the long term and also ensure we get out of this league immediately. Seems to be a misconception that the two can't go hand in hand...www.readytogo.net
CM seems to be as popular as an STD - no change there then.
I'm assuming a 'sack the supposed owner' thread will follow very, very soon.

Surely he's a rare winner in this - coming out with a shareholding when he can't have actually invested any hard cash? At some stage he probably walks away with some money and or at worst, doesn't, having only put his hard won reputation on the line (ahem). Could buy him a life time supply of tailored red chinos and boat shoes."Charlie Methven’s propensity for talking absolute B*****s reached new depths "
Makes you laugh that they call sustainability a pipe dream for a club like them, if a club with their fanbase can't achieve or at least keep losses minimal in this league, no club can.
Sunderland fans will never change, they cry about lack of investment if they don't sign big name, big money signings and in the same breath talk about desires of a data driven approach to player recruitment. Defoe being a perfect example of that very problem
