Same old same old. Defence handing them a free header, and toothless up front. Passing is wayward.
How can a team of players be transformed from a team going for promotion to a team.that rolls over to have its tummy tickled at the first opportunity?
See what the second half brings, but this cannot keep happening, something has to give.

The whole game was going towards their goal after conceding almost from kick-off. Considering the conditions and the fact we’re playing an unfamiliar system I thought we did ok.

Brannagan, Dickie and Agyei have been superb. Not convinced by Forde at RWB yet - but he’s contributed both positive and negative aspects and certainly looks a more offensive fullback option than Longy.

Not convinced by playing 3 CB’s as yet either. I don’t know how much more solid it’s making us - but having the extra body at the back is really handicapping our ability to ‘move through the thirds’ (in KR parlance) quickly.

All that said they look decent going forward. Maguire, Gooch and Wyke can all be utter tits (why is Gooch spending quite so much much time launching himself into the deck and crying to the ref!?) but that is a LOT of quality coming at us.

Reasons to be positive though. We have been in the ascendancy. Browne and Holland will get lots of space against some heavy legs too...
