Phillips and Rice both being on yellows is worrying. Very inexperienced, lots of adrenaline. One slightly mistimed challenge from either of them and it’s a red.
I can hear
I can't. A little bit of nervous exasperation, but definitely no booing.
And why would they?
We've not beaten Germany in a KO game since 1966, we've never won a KO game at the Euros in 90 minutes.
Today, we've had more of the ball, more chances, and better chances.
Do you think the German supporter will be happy so far?
The ones in the ground look nervous as f**k to me.

More and better chances ? Rose tinted but we are doing well and if we go for it we will win . Home , at Wembley, this could be special.I can't. A little bit of nervous exasperation, but definitely no booing.

The problem is we have Kane and he isn’t doing anything he needs to be subbed, as regard the booing we will agree to disagree.More of the ball? Yep like Oxford sideways along the back, back to Pickford and back to Maguire who will go sudeways with his passing and maybe stones or Walker will go back to Pickford that’s why we’ve got more of the ball.I can't. A little bit of nervous exasperation, but definitely no booing.

I would be playing pace on both flanks (Saka deserves to play after his Czech showing opposite from Stirling). I think that way you force their wing backs to have to get back and help - because there's no way that Hummels & Ginter will be able to cope if they don't - and that takes away their main attacking threat. Then play Grealish or Foden at the front of the midfield three with Rice & Phillips in behind.
But I suspect Southgate will show us something more conservative than that.......
It is the Gareth Southgate bore them to death manner.I'll admit that playing football without attempting to shoot the ball at the opponent's goal is a new tactic on me, but let's see how it works out.
Germany had the best chance.
Such a typical England Germany game. I hope it doesn't end in typical fashion.
Exactly my concern as well.
Its like watching Oxfords "possession ball" when they have 80% of the ball and lose 1-0.
Possibly, better than Kane's at the end though?
