Boooooo. Sounds like a point wasted. I wasn't there but I’m not sure that harping on about subs is very relevant. We seemed to be creating plenty with the starting eleven.

Bolton absolutely woeful, worst side we'll play all season and lost. Absolutely shocking how many easy chances we've missed. Little bit embarrassed we've gifted them 3 points. Need a big response next game.

All a bit tough to take..given how many chances created with a newer system which seemed fruitful but wasteful in the end.

Missed opportunities have cost us today.

It’s a shame to lose, because I don’t believe we deserved to, but if you do t put them chances away then you don’t win games. Simple as that!

I just hope we can have our best XI all on the pitch together soon.

Pissed off with that some of are players need shooting practice namely Whyte if we can’t score we won’t win games how we lost that I’ll never know

How anyone can blame KR for this game is beyond me. We've had 4 or 5 brilliant chances to score and messed them all up. He can only do so much, if your attackers make this many mistakes there's nothing he can do about it!
Agreed unbelievable

You don’t think he should have changed things towards the end of that first half?!
No.

We have been absolutely hammered with injuries this season and an early change could have left us unable to field a full team come the end.

Bolton dominated the last 10 minutes of the first half and the 10 minutes after they scored the second, but otherwise it sounded like we were by far the stronger side.

We should certainly have taken a point, and would have got that and more if it wasn't for the missed chances. But not sure any substitutions would have significantly changed things.

I bet you they are top half.
There will be lots of worse teams we will play this season

We were a minute away from going in at 1-0, and it came from a mistake from Gorrin not covering Sykes and and a really good strike. If the attackers do their job that finishes 5-2.

Why didn't he bring Agyei on earlier to replace one of our wasteful strikers though?

If ever there was a game when failing to take your chances cost the game it was this one. Bolton seem like a similar side to us - threatening in attack, porous in defence. You cannot try to defend a lead in a game like this, you have to keep on the attack and *score*. How we missed all of those chances, Lord alone knows. Shooting practice this week!

Thought we deserved at least a point from that, but wasteful attacking play and two mistakes in the midfield and somehow we've lost. Get them all in training this week learning how to shoot from further than 6 yards out. Gifted a Bolton side who I thought were good but leaky as hell (not unlike MK Dons last year) 3 points. Thought Winnall did well all things considered, McNally and Thornily not their best game but not bad, Seddon did well. First time this season where I felt the midfield let us down a bit though, Brannagan and Gorrin were screaming at each other half the game. I thought Sykes defended his side well, but was anonymous as an attacking threat most the game, and Brannagan was the opposite, really good going forward but left Seddon isolated time and time again. Gorrin I think was really poor, didn't know how to play the system at all at times.

Blimey we should not have lost that. But you dont take your chances you dont win games. Oh well.
OUFCX
how many chances created, yet just one put away .... finishing was sadly poor today

one or two players for OUFC need to remember its a team game , and pass the ball quicker
