No you're not. You would be delighted if he failedSo am I sir!!
Ridiculous commentHe was dire today. Signing a player who effectively fails his medical says somethings about our club?
Yeah but he was hopeless in the first so let's write him offHe really was not dire. His physicality helped us a lot in the second half.
Yep, hardly.moved in that first half. Offered nothing!Yeah but he was hopeless in the first so let's write him off
Crikey that’s a bit wild. Rusty, maybe, but we struggled all over the pitch to get the ball under control so he wasn’t the only one. It was just an awful team performance that he was not the solution to in the end. Some of the passes going forward yesterday were just brainless smashes of the ball in their general direction. We finally found a bit of purpose in the final 15 minutes but nothing convinced me we know what we’re doing with this group and that won’t be the last time he runs around wondering where on Earth the service is going to come from.He was dire today. Let’s hope that is sooner rather than laterHe just looked off the pace. Lack of match fitness. As we’ve been told.. But you can see what he’ll do when he’s fit. Very robust and gets in good positions. He’ll be fine.
You mean Ipswich ? Last season or Goodwin this season for Cheltenham?Best physical striker I’ve seen at this level since George Hirst when we played Cheltenham earlier this season. He was a right horrible git and fully deserved his goal. He didn’t merely bully us; he absolutely pummelled us.
Let’s hope he gets some more minutes in his legs and we see that version of him soon.
Goodwin for Cheltenham was the best physical L1 striker I have seen play against us since Hirst was playing at this level for Ipswich and Portsmouth. You mean Ipswich ? Last season or Goodwin this season for Cheltenham?
Arhhh....reading while preparing the Sunday dinner and just didn't read it correctly!Goodwin for Cheltenham was the best physical L1 striker I have seen play against us since Hirst was playing at this level for Ipswich and Portsmouth.
