Poor batting? Think we should be looking at the bowlers to be honest. Letting Scotland get north of 370? Not good enough by a long way, even on that pitch.

They were way ahead of the run rate all the way the last wicket fell. Hales running out Root was the catalyst for the batting issues, and there were some very indifferent shots. I guess they didn't respect the Scots enough
