See him as like for like for Mcguane, have doubts over his defensive ability but means we can rest one of the midfield 2 and have a ready made replacement. Great signing, it has been a fantastic window

Well that really does sprinkle a certain stardust on things. The window was OK going in to today but I’ve been completely caught cold by today’s arrivals. Both throughly good additions that I can’t wait to see on Saturday.

I said in the last few days that the club needed a shot in the arm and the recruitment team have delivered that in the only way they can. I’m really impressed.

Burey looks a good player too and I can’t imagine Goodwin disappointing so whilst I’d have much preferred an earlier showing in the window, we can’t have any complaints about where we’ve ended up, particularly if we get that one extra striker if at all possible.

Bravo Ed. Tie this man down.

I didn’t say he played in midfield - as we aren’t singing a striker by the looks of things, he will be expected to step it up especially as he’ll likely be on the bench for the remainder.
