Should be a done deal then. Is there any progression in terms of moving to a stronger league for next year?Devs won 3-0 yesterday v Maidenhead. Now 10 points clear at top of league with 4 games left (and 2 of those are v 2nd bottom Sudbury).
should be. good follow up to the double last season.Should be a done deal then. Is there any progression in terms of moving to a stronger league for next year?
its highly unlikely to be anywhere near the front page of the local rag, after all is a positive news story involving Oxford UnitedOxford United Women inspires girls bullied for playing the game
The young girls, who had been bullied for playing football, met with Oxford United Women players.www.bbc.co.uk
Nice positive story, waiting to see it in the Oxford Fail, could be waiting a while
That is fantastic. Can somebody who has an email to the Oxford Mail writers send the link to them and ask where their take on this is? This should be front page.Oxford United Women inspires girls bullied for playing the game

What a fantastic club we have.
is he still there? Robert Folker has been doing the sports pages / OUFC info of late - as well as anti-stadium/ pro FoSB 'news' items on the OM front pagehave tweeted @OxMailLiamRice
yes, think he has been on holiday.is he still there? Robert Folker has been doing the sports pages / OUFC info of late - as well as anti-stadium/ pro FoSB 'news' items on the OM front page
Considering we currently get the bare minimum when it comes to the men’s 1st team communication then it shouldn’t come as a surprise the women’s team get virtually nothing.I tweeted the Oxford Mail when they did a 2023 review of OUFC and never mentioned the Women's team once despite a 2nd place finish on the final day, no response.
Saying the club itself treat the women's team poorly and as for the Devs they may as well not exist for the lack of coverage they receive.
Next two Women's games:
21/4 v MK Dons at Court Place Farm - 2pm - League (last home league game)
28/4 v Oxford City at Court Place Farm - 3:30pm - Oxfordshire Womens FA Cup
Next two Dev games:
7/4 v MK Dons Devs at OUFC Training Ground - 2pm - League
20/4 v Bournmouth Devs at Broadhurst Park Stadium, Manchester (FC United's ground) - 4pm - WNL Reserve Cup Final
Big game for the devs to potentially do the double. AFCB are leading the WNL Reserves South West division (U's are in the South East and Central) and have lost once this season, U's haven't lost yet).
can only imagine so.I assume the ground for the final was selected before the season started? Otherwise they should have been able to find a ground between both clubs, or at least a lot nearer, to encourage more attendance and less travelling cost/time for the players.
