League One Swindon on the brink

Some comments after the game in the Oxford mail he doesn’t seem very happy maybe in house problems with take over and not being able to sign players he wants

We get comments like that throughout the season from Karl. He’ll have the occasional moan about the buy/develop/sell model. No manager ever gets everything they want and he admits that every coach will always be asking for more cash from the owner.

I’m sure we’re reading more into it than needs be. Maybe it’s a frustration in that a key target is taking longer to sign than hoped.

Back on track from their supporters trust...................

"We did our own extensive due diligence on Axis and Clem and have also spoken to him at length as a board.
We have provided letters to the EFL and FA to:
A. Ask for them not to punish the club but the individuals based on the Standing v Power ownership case.
B. Also to confirm we have undertaken DD on clem and Axis and that we support him purchasing the club.
We would not have done this without as I said completing our own detailed research, checks and interviews."

I would think with the Clubs "previous" the likelihood of "A" happening, no punishment, would be remote at best.

Maybe we could lease them our car parking space at Court when HMRC or whoever decides to call in their debt? :ROFLMAO:

Police were called to the Kassam Stadium this morning after receiving reports that a Swindon Town supporter had climbed on to the roof of the East Stand and was threatening to jump off.

After being talked down by specialist officers, the fan was asked by South Today why he had taken such extreme measures. "Swindon Town is my life" he said "but this whole situation with Power and Morfuni is getting me down. They've strung it out so long it's become really depressing and what with the players not getting paid and leaving, I'm beginning to think there won't be a club to support. I'm really at my wits end"

"Yes, that's unfortunate" says Geraldine "but why have you come to Oxford, to the ground of you bitterest rivals, to do such a thing?"

The scummer rolls his eyes and says "Have you seen the queue for the roof at the County Ground".....

Not sure we should be taking the mickey out of Swindon with our situation! We could be next.

Lol I highly doubt that…

I absolutely think we should be taking the P**s out of Swindon, because they’re a bunch of scumbags. Did they think twice about putting the boot in when we went out of the league? No. If anything, I think we’ve gone too easy on them…

I mean Lee Power is selling the club silver just to come away with whatever he can from the club. We have the basis of a squad of talented footballers with a good resale value on many of them. If you think about it, the 5 or 6 players that Swindon actually still have under contract, are the only ones no other club wanted to buy off them.

I think we're pretty safe with the mickey taking for now.

Relief all round guys, neither of these owners can be trusted, especially when you re-arrange the words PowerMorfuni.

I got... Funi poo werrm!😂
Enough said!😂👍🏽

I’d rather we did it when our ownership/stadium is sorted, just wouldn’t want to tempt fate!
