We were a few weeks back. Not sure if we still are.

Peterborough top league scorers in all four divisions (40).

We're currently equal second with Man City on 37.

We are the top scorers across all domestic competitions in the top 4 tiers (55 now, I think)

By contrast, we scored 81 goals across all competitions in 2018-2019.

Minimum of 30 games left to get the 45 goals to get to100.
Definitely doable particularly if we go further in the cups than just the next matches.

Just crunched the numbers. 81 goals in 25 matches...

We can't be scoring an average of 3.24 goals a game? I knew we were doing well, but that's madness!

EDIT: Thanks to @Barbadosyellow. Its 55 in 25.

2.2 goals per game is more accurate, and still a great ratio.

"Anyway, no idea what the gate was today, but the Oxford following was pretty good and they kept up a barrage of noise the whole game".

This was mentioned on their forum so well done to the travelling supporters.

Think Rad Ox said 905 from ox and attendance was just over 6500. Good turnout from Southend considering where they are.

I see on their forum links to forums of other L1 teams. We are listed as Oxford City, perhaps that is where Sky get their info from.

Have to be honest, it reminded me a lot of the Hayes & Yeading game.

We were manifestly superior in the first half, and should probably have been further ahead.
Then Sol changed things up a little with the substitutions, and they had a good spell - although we never looked really uncomfortable.
The only difference this time round was that we got another couple at the end to seal things.

......this of course does not say much about Southend, if they're resembling a Southern League Premier South team. They were really bad.....like David Kemp Oxford bad.....

Unable to attend today, but that's a message for the rest of the league!

Oh and f**k Man City ;)

Our passing, closing them down and leaving too much space gave them confidence into the second half. We weren't good. It was like watching a Wilder side 1-0 up at times.
It does show far we have come though, play below par and win. Fantastic result.
