So not a programme?
Anything different to the EFL "club blurb"?
Anything different to the various social media channels?

Or just a way to grab a few more ££`s?

Sell it to me someone?

Yep, I read that too. :)

Now sell it to me........... because right now it's just looking like rehashed stuff put in a magazine at a price.

Well unless Chris Williams is on the forum in disguise then none of us can really sell it to you, because we haven't seen it either.

Personally I would pass judgement on whether it's just re-hashing things if I had an actual copy in my hands, but it does seem like it's going to go in-depth on things that haven't been touched upon too often on other channels.

The club's track record when it comes to match day programmes should at least give you cause for optimism with this?

this ox magazine just sounds like a program you’d buy at the stadium on match day but the club are selling it once a month for a fiver
Does anyone remember that sticker book with different clubs and there stadiums from a 20 years ago I’m sure it was a sticker book lol but something like that would get younger children more interested

I don't need to sell it to you. You can see what will be included. If that content won't be of interest to you, then don't buy it!

The problem I foresee is exactly how much news/information is "enough" or even too much?
Most of the items highlighted are already posted on the social channels, ifollow, website etc.

Will the club have enough interesting "stuff" to fill a monthly magazine AND maintain the other stuff because something will suffer.
The other issue is as soon as it is out to subscribers folk will start to talk about it, without buying it, in places like this.

Best regards

A Grumpy Old Hector. :)

Think they should first prioritise the PROMPT sending of on sale times for away tickets.
I never receive a text or email, despite allowing same in my club notification preferences.

quarterly, not once a month.

Yeah think you’re on your own on this one. Which leaves a 30000 - 40000 fan base who may purchase it. And it’s the consumers choice if they keep buying it snd the clubs choice if they keep producing it.

Plenty of epl clubs do this. Ultimately news at a football club is the same regardless of tier level

Money is just numbers on a spreadsheet, so be a true fan and move some from yours to the club.*

* not sure if I need a wink smiley here or not, assume one if you are taking this post entirely seriously.

Great idea this. Pay people to calm EY down when he complains about absolutely anything and absolutely everything that happened after 1996. Would plug the Brexit shaped hole in the economy overnight.

Well I think it's a venture worth trying, and I will be buying a subscription. It will be nice having an Oxford magazine drop through the letter box every 3 months.

It's another potential revenue stream, so well worth the club giving it a go.

Also it's another small way for fans to feel they are financially supporting and contributing to the club. Not everyone can get to games / get season tickets etc.

Not if those mega-rich buggers on the Board don`t. :)

We need leaders selling the future not beggars after a fiver from us................

*you are right it wasn`t completely serious I can`t see us having enough to fill it.
