Fan's View Songs

If they are going to butcher Joy Division tracks, they should be looking at 'Day of the Lords'.

"Where will it end? Where will it end?...." - Not with promotion, get used to it.

We missed a trick not adapting She’s Lost Control for some of our players during the Conference years.

Molly Malone - replacing the climatic finish of "Oxford, Oxford...." with "Mark Sykes, Mark Sykes...."

Or Dead Souls, describing those 3500 of us who watched yet another Tuesday night 0-1 reverse to Farsley Celtic*

*may not have happened but I'm trying to evoke the spirit

There were two of us from the old ultras there yesterday. There used to be 30/40 a game.

For the first 25 minutes we started every song. Between the two of us.

If other people bothered to start a song, and of course join in, it wouldn’t be an issue. Makes you think eh.

So just out of interest where were have other 28/38 supporters gone

The away fans sound louder because they always bring a drum. Ipswich, Bolton, Pompey all did. I'm not saying we should have one but it does create an atmosphere .

The worst home atmosphere this season was Wycombe and I think they brought a drum, quietest I've seen the ground since the pre-conference era around 2004.

It is strange how quiet it is at the moment. Not even much of Come on you Yellows when we have corners etc. I don't know if it's tension or something else.
