Murphy, McGuane, Eastwood, Brown, Bodin, Goodrham, O'Donkor, Henry, Negru and Mfuni all OOC in 2024 (may be others). Baldock is also but sounds like he is retiring, and McEachran's contract length wasn't disclosed but also didn't say 'long-term' so may also be OOC. At least 6 of those should in my opinion be extended, with others depending on appearances and impact this season.

I would look at it in terms of rotation rather than providing just cover.

I think signing an attacking full back opens up many possibilities for us tactically and they could rotate with Brown quite nicely.

There’s plenty of games where teams will sit off us and look to counter. We’ve been doing that these last two games and Brown has been perfect. But against Charlton and Port Vale we can look to be a bit more dynamic.

Most likely to make loan signings now then work on permanents for January window like Harris & Rodriguez...

The positive thing about our last three wins and the position in the table although early in the season is that anyone thinking of coming here looks at that and thinks we have a chance of top 6.
This applies to players thinking of moving permanently and clubs looking to loan players.Nobody really wants to join a struggling club and I know it’s more relevant in January but nevertheless your average player is more likely to want to join a club on the up and having beaten two of the fancied sides this will not have gone unnoticed

If it is Johnson, it has to be remembered that he quite a versatile player and can play left back, wing back and as a forward.

With Browne potential out for a while it could be quite an astute signing.
Yes just a little joke. He’d obviously be a handy addition but I’d be happy with a more low profile left back and a really good striker

JCH is out of contract next summer and doesn't want to sign a new contract with the Posh. If he doesn't sell this window he will get less in January, it will be a scenario like us with Sykes.

And we decided we were better off having Sykes for his last season, rather than selling him on a cut-priced deal.

Suspect Posh will think the same - vastly more likely to get promoted with JCH in their team, not desperate for cash, so unlikely to sell him for less than seven figures.....

They didn't get promoted with JCH last season and like with Sykes fans were questioning if he was fully committed at the end of the season when we filtered away.
