All done. For what it's worth....
"Dear Leader and Cabinet,
I am rarely moved to write to political representatives, but, when the future of Oxford United Football Club is at stake, the club i have supported since being taken to my first game at four years old, i have no choice but to make an exception.
Tomorrow is an opportunity to secure the future of the club. It is that serious. The club has fulfilled the consultation and engagement required of it to this point, engaging with a wide range of groups and the general public. There is no time to delay further. The club needs your support with a positive decision to sell the land at the Triangle.
I care about community and i care about the environment. I am proud to be from Oxfordshire. I want to see an innovative stadium design and facilities which can connect people from around the County. That's the incredible power of sport, football especially. It brings people together. The Triangle is a unique opportunity to develop a landmark facility for Oxfordshire, one which sets a standard for others for its connectivity, community and inclusion.
Being a football supporter does not mean i do not care for the impact of a new stadium on its environment. In fact, it is quite the opposite. I want to see the imaginative use of high quality public spaces, for people to be connected in the area around the Triangle. As an Oxford United supporter i will gladly play my part in holding the club to account for developing the site in a way which is sensitive to its environment.
Therefore, please do not delay, act decisively and approve the sale of land at the Triangle to Oxford United. If you do, i and many thousands of the club's supporters in and outside the County, stand ready to form a new community stadium of which Oxonians can be proud."
