Ex-Staff Karl Robinson

Quite right.

I can think of nothing more exciting than watching Moore and Thorniley passing sideways to each other for 10 consecutive minutes whilst we were 1-0 down to Cheltenham on New Year's Day.

And the bullying of his players (Pekalski being the one with the best publicly available information), truly superb.

I genuinely struggled to enjoy watching OUFC with Robbo at the helm, as he was a complete A*****e. 1 exciting game every 20 hardly makes up for it.
Quite right. And, by the end, barking mad to boot. The worst though was he claimed I had no sense of humour.

They may need patience - his first full season with us was dreadful. He did then build a very exciting, attacking team before it all went pear-shaped. But his interviews were always awful.
That’s going to be the challenge. Salford are known for a distinct lack of patience. I suspect he won’t be there in 12 months.

KR

Salford is a club that have shown great progression over the last few years, and I’m delighted to be taking over a club, that has enormous potential, and has a great heritage.

I’m going to show the fans how much I care, and want to guide the football club to the next level.

Yeah ok Karl, keep the bullshit coming.
Great heritage? Jesus wept! The crap that comes out of his mouth.

He will probably do well there. Found his true level with a lovely club

A lot of revisionism on here.

He has got us closer to the second tier than anyone else in the last 20 years.

Do I agree with a lot of his off the field stuff, no absolutely not. He should have been sacked probably a year earlier than he was, which was as much the boards fault as it was his.

He also handled the Joey and Mickey Lewis situations very well and did a lot of good off the field in his time here.

I will be intrigued to see how he gets on as it is a crucial time in his career, failure could see his stock drop to the point where he may struggle to get another job in the football league.

He never got us promotion to this league did he? So his brushes with the play offs were off the backs of Wilder and Appletons genuine achievements. He had a gift play offs that he threw away and a genuine one where we came up well short against an admittedly good Blackpool. He also was taking us down before he was fired.

I said he overstayed his welcome and should have gone much sooner.

To say that he didn't make the team his own and challenge at top of League One on a regular basis is unfair. We played some of the best football that I have seen us play in his time and I yes we should have won the playoff final, but I genuinely believe that we would have finished second that season if it wasn't curtailed.

"Any and all criticism of KR must be revisionism" has returned!!!

He managed MK Dons - the man knows heritage.

KR was here at least a year too long but I was actually more angry at the Board than KR by the end. And Tiger for giving him such a ridiculously large pay-off in his contract - the snake oil salesman’s greatest trick.

Despite everything, he’ll do OK there I think. Plus he’ll love the attentions of the Class of 92, as well as the continued sickening media love-in.

I think he’ll do OK-ish … flirt with the playoffs, do some attacking, have some arguments. It’s a living.

I remember it well, I did my best to calm you down but you damaged the man with that comment you made about taking the P**s about having a bet when the first “Robbo out” chant would start and you did say about him being a bit more seriously a about the situation l, guess what the t**t got the sack the very next day 🤣🤣🤣

And it’s also the return of…any one who points out that it wasn’t all bad and he actually did have us playing some of the best football we have seen in years gets shut down.

It wasn’t all roses and it wasn’t all bad, generally it is somewhere in the middle and for a few years it was fun going to games and knowing if we conceded 2 then we would score 3.

Personally I think he will get a team like Salford out of that division if given time.
