Got to say, referee’s having a bit of a stinker. In our favour though so cracking stuff!
I thought he refereed the first 30 mins brilliantly, let the game flow. Then suddenly started cracking a bit and giving silly calls both ways. In the main though, we’ve had enough of them go against us it might make a nice change to have one who likes yellow.

At half time we are the only home team to have scored a goal!!

Much, much better.

Positive from the off, Browne and Joseph making things happen. Gats, really strong but poor miss. Tyler a bit quieter but no lack of effort.

Looked more like McGuane was fouled then the other way, but nothing Easty could do about their goal - perfect freekick. Apart from that Easty and the defence haven't had a huge amount to do, but are doing it well and distribution from the back much better.

Struggling to find anything to criticise so far, and just hope we get a second and hang on for a massive 3 points.

Fans in fine voice tonight .
Great to hear the London Rd right side chant

You have to say, it's remarkable how much better we look with GOD and TG starting over the likes of Murphy. GOD especially looks like the kind of striker we've not had in years, someone who can give CBs a physical battle, skin them for pace and make something out of nothing. Joseph making a lot happen down that left, too.

Game is there for the taking if we want it. So annoying how they've created so little but scored with an absolute peach out of nothing.

The equaliser was just what we needed. I honestly thought we were gone when Portsmouth scored.
We could do with a fiery second half with one of their four booked players getting his marching orders.
As was mentioned earlier, it looks like Accrington and Morecambe are dropping down leaving us to fight out with Cambridge and Morecambe
