Yeah, suspect he'll be on the bench again next Friday - two international games and a flight back from Texas would not be the best prep for Shrewsbury.

Thankfully, for the first time in living memory, we actually have a second competent left back in the squad!
(in fact, though I should probably whisper it on this thread, I'm not sure that Joe Bennett isn't a better defender than Leigh. Not as good in the air, obviously, but better positioning and decision making.......)

He’s quality. Love him as a player, really good league 1 left back, could play in the second tier and if things got desperate, I reckon you could deploy a high line and shove him up top along side Harris.

What a great player ,best left back in years ,who's the best you've seen. I loved Bobby Mcdonald. But Leigh is awesome real class.
