Away Match Day Thread +++ 24/08/2019 L1: Bristol Rovers FC v OUFC +++

So bad defending and bad refereeing? Does that about sum it up? Couldn't make the match unfortunately but keeping an eye on the score and Sky Sports News

If we played our own game we'd beat these easily. They are very long ball, and direct, and we're getting sucked into playing the same way.

The first goal was a great volley from long distance but we had 3/4 opportunities to clear properly and didn't.

The second we failed to stop the cross and then Moore was beaten in the air to a ball he should've comfortably won. Bit concerning to be honest.

Overall we've been disappointing. Hopefully we can string a few more passes together in the second half and create some more chances.

Looked like a groin injury. He was trying to stretch it out for a few minutes but soon realised he had to go off.

Getting the basics wrong again in defence. Moore is tall, didn’t jump. Extremely disappointing against an unfancied Rovers team.
Never mind we have enough in the tank to go and win this, really believe.

If we lose here, that'll be 4 points from 5 games. I'm sorry but that's relegation form. For all the optimism, we've become used to being in the bottom half of the table under KR.

It sounds like the full backs haven't in the game so far, something we really thrive on in this system.
