As I said in the build up thread, we need a good performance and result in front of a big crowd.

Need much more positive attitude from the whole squad today. The Christmas season is often make or break with so many games in a short time and shows up who the serious contenders are.

PLAYED FOR BOTH

Includes Graham Atkinson, Nigel Cassidy, Pat Quartermain, Colin Booth, Paul Wanless, David Kitson, Ryan Ledson, Steve Seddon, Roger Gibbins, David Rush, Anthony Tonkin, Sam Smith, Arjan van Heusden, John Dreyer, Bud Houghton and many others.

We need to attack them from the first minute until the 90th no more pissing about with the ball at the back just attack attack attack.... As for the fans we need to turn up aswel no more sitting on our hands ( or checking our bets) let's back the boys

Cmon you f*****g yellows 💛💙

😀

For all of you thinking this will be a given 3 points
Think again
Very difficult game
In the past 4 games
They have beatenExeter, Blackpool and Fleetwood at home and drew away at Charlton
Compare that to our recent shambolic form. Plus they are the sort of side that will frustrate and will stop us playing
Either 1-1 draw or 0-1 defeat

To hard to predict for me, I'm afraid.
If the fans are not vocal today ,I give up.....

Play well and attack they will be vocal ,this game is massive with Derby coming up and Charlton away. It just feels so like last season

Remember Orient. Absolutely hammered down. Julian Alsop.

Difficult to predict anything at the moment, Decent last time at home. But just as likely to throw in one like Saturday, with a good crowd behind them

Of course we should win - we should have beat Northampton - but unless Des gives the whole squad a kick up to a**e it will be another depressing afternoon.

Not sure anybody thinks that?
No reason why we shouldn't win with a better performance, especially bring at home, but Cambridge will presumably set up to stop us playing

Cambridge are enjoying a new manager bounce. Ours has been less buoyant. They won't come here to try and stop us, they'll be confident and will see themselves as favourites.

The one that sticks in my mind is against a typically s**t and pointless Northampton , 0-0 and little action for 92 minutes then the ball bobbles in off one of their nomarks, 0-1. Ho bloody ho. Southend the following year was fairly similar, let’s hope for a performance worthy of the big crowd today.

Mmm. Let's see how they play.
Not sure that they will see themselves as favourites? I really hope they do though. That complacency could play intonour hands.
