I enjoyed rugby, for the larger, less agile kid it was a good way to get into sport, most of which are fairly demoralising if you aren`t quick or lithe.
Also enjoyed other strength field sports such as shot put where some "leverage" was an advantage!
Getting back to concussion, as we get to understand more then by all means put in mitigation where it isn`t detrimental to the game. Medical assessments should be a given but you`ll never eliminate the awkward collision, mistimed tackle or even the misread short ball in cricket.
