They just sold Caicedo for £115m as well, so that's a starting point. Probably enough to get us to come to the table and open negotiations anyway.
After buying him for £4m. They only paid £100m up front but a cool £96m profit. They can afford to buy any of our players methinks.

Not saying he's going anywhere but Brighton who made 24m profit last season and currently sit top of the prem can't afford him? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m not saying they don’t have the money. I’m saying they won’t want to pay what it ought to take to get a player from us who is just what we need among others to get to the place where Brighton are now. Don’t forget it wasn’t that many years ago that Brighton supporters turned up at the Kassam with begging buckets because their club was close to going out of business.
If football is now just about money, and sadly it probably is, then unless clubs like ours get the chance to not only develop players like Negru but keep them at least until it would be unfair to hold them back, then we will never achieve again (we were there once fleetingly) what the likes of Brighton, Brentford and Luton have and if fans can’t dream the impossible dream then what is it all for?

Was Brownes injury picked up from the challenge on him or was it off the ball?

Greg Leigh just arrived at the training ground with agent
