So Karl Robinson, a good manager, gets a squad to finish 19th.
You then expect (largely - due to long contracts) the same squad to get promoted the following season?
Same squad ? We signed 8 and 5 or 6 of those started the first game of the season at Cambridge. I can't remember exactly but we must have shipped out 8 too, that's a 16 man turnaround from the squad Robinson had. What are you talking about ? You - and others - are choosing to focus on one or two long contract players (notably Henry and Browne) who have been on the fringes, due to form and injury or a combination of both, for a while now. None of our last three managers have relied on them too much. Robinsons personal life undoubtedly interfered on his professional life but things happen in peoples lives - he didn't murder anyone, his marriage broke down. It should have probably been dealt with earlier and better but with this 16 man turnaround I mention, I don't buy the idiotic notion that Karl Robinson is the reason we fell off a cliff 8 months - and two managers - after he's departed.
