What’s the betting he says he can’t get into Oxford because of the snow..........
 
There's a piece in todays OM about Liam Kelly getting himself fit and Robinson says if he can, he’d love to have him here with us next season. If that interview was from yesterday we can probably assume that the Blackpool saga has ended but, as we all know, the OM do hold snippets back for when they have nothing else to say. If it wasnt from yesterday then Robinson has gone ominously quiet since Tuesday. Not a great time for him to go all enigmatic on us.

he said on tuesday that they "all" conveine again Thursday and Radox would e first to know.

not sure it's a case of gone ominously quiet and anyway i thought some wanted him to say less
 
Not sure. The speculation is worrying as KR now seems a little annoyed with not being consulted about interest from Blackpool. Added to that, losing two of their best players.
i hope Tiger offers him a bigger salary and some support for new players in a promotion push.
Otherwise he might walk

Is it any different to the situation as we understood it on Tuesday night after KRs radox interview, or for that matter since the club released the statement yesterday.

Has anything changed since then?

Tend to agree. I don't think this was anything more than opportunistic on the part of Blackpool combined with a bit of impeccable/lousy timing depending on your viewpoint.

IF the approach was made during match prep on Tuesday, the board (IMHO) did exactly the right thing by not telling Karl until afterwards. The fact that it leaked out via a journalist and social media is purely a symptom of the social media, instant access on demand/access all areas world we find our selves in. A few years back this would not even be an issue!

What I can't quite square in all of this is the fact it was pretty much all over the media (well, those bothered enough to cover it!) on the previous Saturday, which begs the question - who said what to who and when?....and we may never know the full answer to that. It may have just been a casual response to a media question about who the Blackpool board would like as their next manager, to which they might've responded that Karl Robinson (amongst others) seems to be doing quite a good job this year!

One thing is for sure....30 pages on and we are no nearer the truth and quite possibly never will be!

But I can type in, say, 'football... jobs'. It takes a little while. There. Two thousand, two hundred and thirty matches. Just click on one, at random. Aaaagh, there. 'Dutch managers must be recruited for having big boots'. Now, you don't recruit anyone, Dutch or otherwise, for having big boots.

They are flying many kites...wondering why they aren't just going thru actual application process...BTW Patrick Klievert was odds on for our job once upon a time.

I expect new players in the summer and some of them to involve transfer fees as that is far better time to buy and get decent value compared to January. With or without KR.

Also, Baptiste (large potential undoubtedly) I wouldn't say was one of our best players but certainly one of better players. Fosu on form was probably in our top 3 players but in the last month or so he wasn't that player unfortunately.
