Away Match Day Thread +++ 10/03/18 AFC Wimbledon v OUFC +++

Old man on radio blames the "foreign people" at the club for recent results... Of course he's not in any way racist... He just believes that we cannot have good team spirit with people from other nations - and now we have a foreign Chairman!

Pity him... He's no friends born outside of the UK.

That was s**t. We were terrible, Wimbledon were terrible, and the ref and line were f*****g. Terrible. Only plus is that others didn’t close further. Announcement desperately needed for Monday to give a week to sort them out. (If that’s even possible)

Never a pen, unless a deliberate slip is now a foul. Wes Thomas should have finished his one on one. And how many times can we concede from a set piece into our box
Rochdale, Northampton, Oldham, Fleetwood and of course Wimbledon, all closed the points gap.
It couldn't have been a much worse day points wise.

Darren Ferguson didn’t get much of a fine for threatening to shoot a ref so they can’t comedown harder on a young player for saying something that’s not as bad.

Said today's ref would hear him if he saw him in street basically

Blimey talk about p*ssed off, just replayed his interview on RadOx.

When Todd gets a fine can we please transfer the Xemi Shirt Fund money to help pay it?

If Kane was 18-19 if let him off, he's 23, should know better.

Plenty of manager much older than 23 have said worse. Stupid, but shows that he has a bit of passion and is pissed off with losing, and not just collecting a wage. At least Swindon seem to be doing their best to make sure we play them next season.

Listen: this is a club where an owner hires a useless manager, sacks him, buggers off abroad for a month, leaves the assistant in charge, flogs the club at a dreadful time of the year, presides over a shambolic exit, loads the club up with hard debt to himself.
And gets thanked fulsomely by the supporters trust.
God I hope we do not get relegated. It would be a horror. But there is a strong argument that we would deserve it, for supine, self-serving complacency.
Being at AFCW reminds us what it means to fight for every inch for your club. We might need to re-discover that spirit some time soon.
I feel you have a point Charlie. People need to take a step back and get some perspective. If a club wanted to set out at the start of the season to get relegated it seems we have the blueprint. Absolute incompetence due to lack of leadership culminating in Kanes interview just then. It’s got to a point where I felt like pinching myself to see if I was dreaming. And RO actually praising his passion!?!

I agreed 100% with the last caller. We’re an absolute shambles and this fella Tiger STILL needs to prove if he knows what the hell hes doing!!

Todd Kane saying as it is, Think he will be getting a fine, Top stuff well done young man

What??? He basically said he would smack the ref if he saw him on the street. Appalling.

Tigger needs to get his finger out of his a**e and appoint a decent manager, one who knows football at this level who can keep us up.

Then he has to fund “somehow” better players, this is Oxford United afterall not some scummy team.

Well it could they all drew, they could have won and been within 2 points of us rather than still a 4 point gap. Rochdale now the threat I think, games in hand and have found form.
I think you were saying on another thread that we will be ok because there are 5 or 6 teams that need to overhaul us.
I'd bet that yesterday you didn't think 5 of them would be closer to us today.

4 points off relegation and the worst form in the division...
