Anyone of my generation who was a London roader would have known cuddy either by sight or to talk to, a larger than life character. On here a valued contributor with his famous match predictions which always raised a smile RIP Cuddy
Oh no! I didn't know him but really enjoyed his crazy predictions, and recall the name Cuddy on here from a long time ago. That is very sad - and underlines the gravity of the pandemic.
It is with the greatest respect that this image came to mind. @amershamdave managed to find humour in difficult times and whilst I only met him a few times at games he and his dog will be missed by many.
Never forget the game where that police dog stole the show; the only time that I ever knew Cuddy lost for words.
Farewell to one of the original Right Side London Roaders.
I'm Tommy, Davids son. I want to thank everyone for the kind messages, he wanted everyone to know that he'll miss doing his predictions but does hope his fabled dog does indeed one day make a grand entrance onto the pitch to score the winning goal preferably against Sw*ndon.
Thanks again for making his evenings over the years by indulging in his crazy predictions.
