Last week of the transfer window.

1. I’d like to see Agyei go out on loan to top end L2 and replaced by someone with more reliance eg Elliot Lee?

2. A right back who can cover left back with Long’s injury problems & Seddon being our only left back. Todd Kane?

3. A CDM as Gorrin competition/cover for when’s he’s banned or injured. Allows Brannagan to play as an 8. Ahmed Kashi?
Apparently Kashi is in the an amateur french team called Annecy so is definitely not on our radar

Anyone who has ever been to Annecy will be able to tell you what a picturesque place it is. There's also a fantastic lake and you can rent pedalos on it, so unfortunately I think we're unlikely to get Kashi back.
I really liked him for us, great passer and holder of the ball though a bit of a nutter.

I don’t know why people are getting weepy about Cooper, there’s no evidence he’s better than our other wingers. He didn’t look special against Oxford City.

Yes I liked him too but he played 11 games for us about 2 and a half years ago and there's nothing to suggest he's still the answer to our problems apart from that he played for us before.

Also, we won't be able to get him. No way will he give up a pedalo on Lake Annecy, I know I wouldn't.

We definitely need another proven striker if we want to go up. I would get Agyei out on loan, but to a team with a nice manager. I don't think he would flourish under someone like Steve Evans, but perhaps someone in the mold of Daniel Farke.

I think if the owners want to show their intent, we should get Kyle Hudlin in. He's already had interest from higher up, and we have a history of developing players, so it could be a match made in heaven.

We also definitely need another defender as cover. Perhaps Jonjoe Kenny. He's not getting in the Everton team right now, and we could do a loan-to-buy kind of deal.

Very fickle , 2 weeks ago people said give Agyei a go up front he’s better than Taylor and would score more , one match up top and now he’s not good enough and needs a good loan to a 2nd division side to build his confidence. Football is a funny old game

Kenny?! His last two loans were to Celtic and the Bundesliga.

I was there last night and I think we did ok but QPR were clearly a level above us in terms of time on the ball and movement, but at least we competed in the second half and in the end we didn't get battered!! After last night KR must be able to see what we desperately need in the squad and if he doesn't then he needs to quickly, or his staff need to tell him!!
-Agyei and Winnall are NOT suitable back up to Taylor, we need a proper target man who will win headers and hold the ball up properly. Taylor is great when playing off a big man, but playing up front on his own and fighting for long balls is not what he's good at. I do like that KR is trying two up front sometimes but the personnel has to be right. Agyei is so much better up front but his right foot crosses are woeful, KR must see that HE IS NOT A WINGER or wide player!
-A fit Gorrin is great but I still think we need a nasty central midfielder who will add bite to the midfield and provide options for us, Brannagan MUST play further forward, he was immense last night even though he only played 45 mins.
-Cover for fullback urgently, left side preferable but anyone will do! For LCP to be playing last night shows he has got the recruitment wrong so far, yea I understand about the injuries but we MUST build and be strong from the back to be successful going forward. If we had a back up left back then Seddon could have maybe played RB and the LCP would not have had to play last night and been targeted so much, QPR sussed him out early on. McNally will be a star for us and Moore and Seddon are vital players, but Longy is needed back more urgently than ever!

Robinson's obsession with wingers (who mostly aren't fit!) is killing us, and the squad is a bit unbalanced in my view, so we have 5 days left to sort it out. If Erick is saying do we need more to KR then we clearly have some funds there, and we need to use them.
I'm excited about this season but fear the make up of our squad will let us down if we're not careful.
(Sorry for the essay and rant!)

Cooper is the messiah now, not Dan. Keep up.
You’re right, Cooper has been given chance after chance and not performed, he doesn’t deserve any support from our fans whatsoever - we should be booing his name as soon as it’s on the team sheet. Plus we’ve got loads of fit, naturally left-sided wingers ready to play so hopefully he’s sacked/sold soon and we can forget all about him.

As for Agyei, he was given one start in a cup loss to a team in the league above, out of position - what more does he want?! Again, get rid.

Sam Winnall however will definitely come good, he just needs another 10-20 consecutive starts up front and he will surely come good. It’s only a matter of time…

I think it’s clear we need another CF to take some of these chances but who? Think it’s time to send DA out on loan for his sake he needs regular game time in a settled position we just need to make sure it’s the correct club don’t need him going out and not playing.

It does yet again feel like KR hasn’t got the balance of the squad right, lack of full back cover and CDM, also need for another striker, not convinced Dan is going to make it here or Winnall has the legs to have a real impact.

Will Grigg is the man. :)

Nice concise post of what I waffled on about earlier! I think the majority of our fans might agree, but KR is the key and he seems convinced by what we have hence the apparent lack of player movement or activity....yes I understand it's not always easy to get players in or out but he does this most years and yes we've come close in the last two years but it's been a struggle at times.
Less wingers and more defenders!

Cooper been given chance after chance? Did you ever see him in a game? Because if you did you were lucky, he has hardly played for us and in the few he has played he has shown some good touches. He hasn’t been with Oxford long enough to be judged he needs a season with us before you can give some crass comments.

We are one player away from having a top six team. And it's obvious who that player needs to be. A big, mobile forward to take the pressure off Taylor. Winnall is OK as back up. Aygei isn't good enough for L1. And certainly not for a team hoping to challenge for promotion. I'd rather we sign someone, but a loanee will do. Think of the Blackpool loanee (from Everton, can't remember his name). The rest of the team/squad is very high level L1. KR isn't stupid and he'll know what he needs to do. I'm not ITK, but I would think Aygei will be out on a L2 loan and Cooper will be off. If you can't even get on the pitch ahead of a 16 year old, your time is up.

KR will leave it late for some, assuming there are any other signings as he clearly feels he can get better quality that way.

I think there may be an element of whoosh there Bazzer.
