(Sorry just realised you weren’t talking about GW )So Oxfordshire is going to miss out on a great leisure facility ???
There isn't much in Oxon for leisure apart from walks ....Oxonians have to travel miles to any major leisure attractions so surely a decent football stadium isn't too much to ask for is it.
And here lies the problem.
Everyone thinks it’s like that place in Bracknell, go for a few hours wave machine , flumes etc
It isn’t, think of Centre Parcs (with just the water bits and restaurants and hotel rooms) and that’s what Great Wolf is and for the Bicester Village clients.
Just like butlins or Centre Parcs you either stay Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday.
Day passes maybe available to locals at £50 when not at capacity (ie likely mid week)
Tbh I wasn’t overly against it (wife was) although I always thought the biggest disruptions would be the roads (it was as that’s the bit the have done)
If built you will see more traffic’s at changeovers but they are during the working day.
