Against another side who practice the dark arts even though they are not really in the race any more so doesn't bode well

Even though he is now getting on wouldn't it have made more sense to have a wise old head like Henry to bring off the bench for the last 15 minutes or so rather than both Smyth and McGuane - we didn't even use the forner as our fifth sub

Inexperienced Des v Bloody Evans 😱

Surely Henry was injured on Saturday? Not sure we have any other fit choices for the bench.

Very concerning lack of any plan B. When our wingers don’t perform, we’re not very good.

That said, we really could have done without the merry go round of subs second half. Des has on occasion been good at this aspect - not today. Taking our main goal threat (Goodrham) off…why?

It was partly the wingers not performing - but also partly Lincoln's tactics in that almost every time that our wingers, Murphy in particular, picked the ball up they had two people closing them down.

It's the right way to counter DesBall, and Skubala is clearly a smart manager - it did create more space for Ruben and Tyler in the middle first half, and we should have taken advantage of that but the finish wasn't there. Second half, after the goal, they just gave up trying to attack and did a defensive number on us all around.

We shall see if Evans tries the same thing. He may.....but I don't think the personnel he's got to work with are as good as Lincoln's.......

Henry was injured today.

Too slow, Lincoln did a proper job on us, with lots of help from that aresehole Swarby ( a decent ref would've sent 2 of theirs off for 2 yellows apiece in the first half )-- Murphy had 3 on him all night, Leigh didn't make a decent pass all night, Dale kicked out the game from the start, what the f**k was their pen for ? Tall keeper , all our few shots straight at him, why not low down? f*****g fuming - in the old cliche , we were f*****g robbed ( in the main by f*****g *Swarby)

* spelt his name wrong -anyway, it should beCUNT

Friday is massive. Stevenage/Evans is exactly the type of football what we don't do well against. Des and the players really need to do their homework.
Lose, and I think that's us done as Pompey won't be at the races having already won it and Cheltenham will be easy pickings for them on Saturday too.

Gutted to give points to a play off rival.

Got the feeling before the goal that the Oxford players were a bit guilty of being spoiled from the last 3 games, and being sloppy with passes.
Once Lincoln scored they were horrible little imps.
Ref was shitand easily conned.

We're still in 6th. The play offs are ours if we can win the next 2 games.
2 games

Thought we played ok but no cutting edge. Lincoln just stopped us any way they could but we have to do better. Too much turning back when on the ball in midfield, need to try getting the ball moving quicker than we did tonight. Onto Friday, regroup, put this behind us and go for it.

Swarby was inept, and any s***housing side who sees that he's reffing one of their games must lick their lips in glee because he loves giving cheap free kicks, and helping them slow the game down so he can keep being the centre of attention.

That being said - I can see what the pen was given for. Taylor should have scored, but when he accidentally back-heeled it instead, the guy following up behind him was in a position to score. Ruben has slid in, and I don't think he's got any of the ball but enough of the man for him to go down.....

Well, that's brought us crashing back down to earth with a bang. We were a shambles tonight.

Regardless of how well we can play when given time and space, we really struggle against negative, anti football sides, and until we learn how to deal with sides like that, we're always gonna come unstuck when it matters.

Friday's huge now, we need to be ruthless, aggressive and go for the throat.

DON'T f**k THIS UP LADS!!

We deserved a point tonight. I would say that was far from a shambles. Unless you’re talking about the ref playing into Lincoln’s hands?

The two things that went right for us tonight were Barnsley losing and Cheltenham winning.

Means that on Saturday, Barnsley will be desperate and Cheltenham still have a chance of avoiding relegation.

Beat Stevenage, and we could still be in the playoffs by 5pm on Saturday.
