Some people do prefer binary thought processes, don't they? If you disagree with the (unproven) concept that 'most people' think booing is acceptable you must obviously be a Labour-supporting leftie. Carry on ....

and i suppose anyone who dissagrees with you or blm is a raving rascist in your eyes .

The last post by dannyc that is even vaguely OUFC adjacent was in August 2019 in regards to the collapse of Bury.

I mean it's not against any rules, but it does just feel like they're here to stir, rather than being an OUFC fan who happens to want to weigh in on a different debate.

I have a vague recollection he is Wycombe fan but could be wrong.

racism is worldwide not just white people as you might assume and will never go away fact so the bending of the knee doesnt solve anything .

Do you boo everything that doesn't solve anything?

Judging by the voting on the BBC website during the england match thread the taking of the knee is at best not liked by a ratio of 2:1. Croatia didn't take part in the gesture. Hope they think again about doing the political and divisive gesture. And indoor the BBC highlighting it.

There was a poll on this? Do you have a link to it? Or was it a thumbs up or down thing on the match thread.

More people in the ground supported the players than booed, as you could tell when the booing was drowned out.

Still say there are better ways to show unity and solidarity than something that is perceived by many, probably those that need to be won over, as divisive and political.

No poll. Nothing to give any substance to the claim that two thirds don't like the taking of the knee. Neither is there any quantified evidence that a substantive part of the population find kneeling divisive or indeed political. Same old theories regurgitated again and again by those who - for their own unexplained reasons - seem to find taking the knee threatening.

We've all shared our opinion on the knee issue, seemingly endlessly over the last 6 months - at what point do you just accept its always going to be a 50/50 split in opinion, a 50/50 split between boos and applause and just stop letting it upset you...
