Seen a couple of Blackpool fans say Thorniley could be part of the deal as well. Think that would be very astute if we can get him as part of the deal which means we could revert to the 3-4-1-2/3-5-2 we played towards the end of last season. Would give us 3 quality Cb’s & brown as a back up
They don't need to offer up Thornily if they have met his Clause.

And let's be honest....ANYONE coming in literally hours before the first game is hardly likely to feature, let alone start on Saturday.

I got a good idea, let’s start name calling at posters, because we throw a wobbly because a key players leaves. Very mature!

Players come and go, and no player is bigger than the club. We pocket the cash and move on.
Think you've read me wrong...

I'm not throwing a wobbly.

Absolute agree no player bigger than the club, we pocket the cash and move on.

You said we should have been prepared.

I asked what makes you think they aren't already prepared.

He’s not irreplaceable, and yes he was wonderful to watch at times, and scored some good goals. When things weren’t going his way, he’d go running and searching for the ball, and bit headless chicken. The team would lose its shape!

Shame he’s gone, but we need to move forward without the lad.

No need for name calling people, and insinuating things. It’s apart of the game buying and selling, and we just have to accept that, even though it’s tough.

Let’s try and stay positive

Cam has been a fantastic player but we all knew he would only be here for a few years and we actually got an extra season out of him.
Thank you Cam

This move could have happened at the end of August which would have left us high and dry, with no chance of a decent last minute replacement.

We May struggle without him for the first few games but let’s not forget he missed a chunk of the season with an eye injury and we coped without him.

Im sure we are looking at loan / permanent replacements and we have a month to get it right

We have lost influential players before, but it is not the end of the world and we move forward

Who knows ,we may bring in a loan player who decides to stay and become another legend for us

Some comments on here are disgraceful saying our season is over, please ask yourselves

Do you support this CLUB or not ?

What about the 'no acceptance of offers if too near deadline'...I guess that doesn't apply to any other key dates like the start of the season.

Blackpool have done a number on us with this.
They were always likely to play it this way, given the way it played out last time. It was pretty obvious they were pissed off by the way they recalled Thornily 🤷‍♂️

If Blackburn sell Brereton-Diaz to West Ham , Brannagan could end up at Ewood Park. Rovers are in for him and I could stomach that move
more than a forced move to Blackpool.

Good luck to him. He deserves his shot at the Championship and will no doubt be perfectly capable at that level. Brilliant player for the club.

Huge credit to the recruitment team for another window where we’ve made huge profits on two players.

Challenge now is the amount of work we need to do before the end of the window. Does this put Luongo within reach?

We've always been vulnerable to losing him as he's so important to us and we don't have a natural replacement - maybe Smyth will become that. We need to sign two midfielders now.

Would need to hurry up. Would guess that’s why Blackpool have moved to offer his full release clause unlike previous seasons as they know there are others interested now and they might not be the most attractive option if they don’t get him tied up to a deal quickly
